Precise distinction of events

Entry and exit overview

Access records should not be overstated. EntryPoint reliably records digital access events, while physical passage confirmation or direction depends on the specific installation.

What is recorded

User

Who sent the command or had an access event recorded.

Access point

Which door, gate, garage or other access point was used.

Time

Date and time of the recorded event.

Linked device response

Where available, the event is linked to a device response or action log.

Important limitations

A command is not always passage

An opening command does not always prove that a person physically passed through.

Entry/exit depends on configuration

Access direction can only be distinguished if the installation and logic support it.

Records are not automatically attendance tracking

Attendance scenarios require separate rules, purpose and legal configuration.
