Access from the car

Android Auto garage, gate and door access

Android Auto support can show assigned access points in the in-car interface on supported configurations. It is not a universal replacement for every remote control and depends on the vehicle, Android phone, app version and platform approval requirements.

Important limitations

Platform dependent

Exact behavior depends on vehicle, phone, app version and platform rules.

The app must be prepared

The user must sign in to EntryPoint and sync assigned access points.

Permissions and records stay the same

Administrators still manage access, and events are recorded as part of EntryPoint.
